One of the great things about knowing how to make web pages is that you don't have to use someone else's home page. You can create a customized page that includes links to all of your favorite sites. While you can save favorites in any browser, I think that having a personalized home page is much more efficient.
To create a school home page, we'll use the Composer feature (HTML editor) in the Nvu open source browser program. Read more about Nvu at Wikipedia.
On this page, we'll make a table of links, organized by category. We'll be adding to this page throughout the semester: For now, you will keep this page on your Z: drive, in your webmaster folder, in a folder named "links." We'll turn in a copy of the assignment using an MP3 player (Mrs. Sanchez will provide the device).
