Frames: Advantages and Disadvantages

Create a new frameset in Dreamweaver. Your frameset should include THREE frames.

• Each of your framesets should be NAMED with a unique name (not the default given to you in Dreamwaver)
• One Frame should be a navigational MENU
• One Frame should be a "TITLE" frame
• One Frame should be a "CONTENT" frame that loads additional information.
  • Your content area will display up to four different pages
    • one page where YOU summarize your information on using frames (advantages and disadvantages).
      • You must cite all of your sources
    • Links to three different web sites that discuss the pros and cons of using frames
    • Links to a web site that teaches you how to make frames in HTML

Use only original artwork on this page (Create any graphics you need in Fireworks)

Your page should discuss the advantages and disadvantages of using frames for web site navigation. For example, what is good about using frames? Why don't some people like them? When can they cause problems?

This assignment will be worth 30 points. You will list it on your "Other DW assignments" page.
