My Choice Project

You will use the NVu HTML editor to complete this project. You will create a (minimum) 2-page web site. This project is worth 22 points.

You need to create a NAMED ANCHOR to jump from one place in your web page down to another section of your web page. The process is to put a named anchor (give a part of your page a separate name) and then make a link to that section of a page (instead of to another page). You can watch the movie HERE to learn how to do this.

You will have two kinds of anchor links: one to move to a specific location on the same page, and one to jump to that location from another page. Both examples will be demonstrated in class.

This project will be turned in on the shared folder.

• You MUST NOT provide any personal information -- don't give clues about your name, age, where you live, where you go to school, etc.

During this project, Mrs. Sanchez will be observing your work habits, to see how well you are meeting the state standard for Resources Benchmark 1.3. The benchmark reads: Students prioritize and manage time, materials, ,work space, and resources to set and achieve goals.

Our goal is to create a 2-page web site that demonstrates mastery of created named anchors and links to those anchors. I will be watching to see that you are using your time efficiently and appropriately during class, and that you meet the project dealine, use resources available to you (like online videos), are following classroom guidelines/rules for using the computer and Internet, and being respectful of others' equipment and time.
